email forwards

exactly three people send me forwards on a regular basis:

• my mom. who is a card carrying republican church lady working in the public school system. forwards usually revolve around: politics, faith, trips to italy
• my friend rach. who is a 80 year old stress-aholic trapped in the body of a 25 year old. forwards usually revolve around: sex, hicks, stupid myspace surveys
• my cousin robert. who i almost never see/talk to IRL and has some sort of job where he travels to random, far off lands. forwards usually revolve around: politics, bad jokes, being american

usually, if i see the word FWD: in the headline, i delete without reading it. the people that send me these fwds KNOW that i immediately delete them. and yet, it still usually causes mom or rach to get mad if they ask me about one and i say, um - didn’t read it. since i don’t talk to robert, no harm done.

i wish all three would stop, but i know they won’t. i think they think it’s a way to show they care. or something…

I’ve got a rule setup that deletes it for me… as far as I’m aware, nobody sends me them :)
