How much for a text message?!
As of the spring all 4 major US mobile service carriers (Verizon, Sprint, AT&T and TMobile) have text messaging rates of 20 cents a piece. It’s crazy expensive considering you’re sending 140 bytes (not kilobytes…bytes) of data. Just under half of the readers of my Tumblr are non-US based. What does sending a text cost you folks overseas?
